How We Review Tamil Movies: Our Rating Method
This page explains how Dikkiloona reviews and rates Tamil films, so you can judge our reviews for yourself.
What we assess
- Story and screenplay: structure, pacing and originality.
- Performances: lead and supporting cast.
- Direction and craft: cinematography, editing, music and background score.
- Entertainment value: how well the film delivers on what it promises.
How we watch
We review films after watching the complete film, in theatres or on the OTT platform where it releases. We say in the review where we watched it.
Ratings
Ratings are on a five-point scale. A rating reflects the film itself and is never influenced by advertisers, studios or platforms. Where a film is not yet released, we publish a preview or news article instead of a review.
Spoilers
We keep major plot points out of headlines and introductions, and warn before any spoiler section.
